Maruti Suzuki has launched huge discounts on the WagonR for June 2025. The special offer is to provide a robust sales boost, and with that, the already best-selling hatchback becomes even more appealing for price-sensitive buyers. The ex-showroom price begins at ₹5.64 lakh, and with benefits of up to ₹1.05 lakh, buyers can save a sizeable amount of money on their purchase this month.
Engine Options and Performance
Maruti WagonR features two petrol engine options. First is a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder motor and the second is a more powerful 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder unit. Both the engines feature DualJet Dual VVT technology for enhanced fuel combustion and performance. Both engines come with both manual and AGS (Auto Gear Shift) transmission options. The vehicle also features a CNG option, offering consumers greater convenience based on usage and preference.
Mileage Figures Across Variants
Fuel economy continues to be one of the strongest attributes of WagonR. The 1.0-litre petrol engine offers a mileage of 25.19 kmpl, and the 1.2-litre variant delivers 24.43 kmpl in AGS variants. The CNG variant, available in LXI and VXI variants, provides a whopping mileage of 34.05 km/kg, which is a fuel-efficient choice for regular daily driving. Such mileage makes WagonR the perfect choice for driving in cities and for daily commutes.
Features, Safety, and Interior Upgrades
WagonR also retains its thoughtful and well-kitted inside. It gets a 7-inch SmartPlay Studio touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and cloud services. Safety features comprise dual airbags for the front, ABS with EBD, and reverse parking sensors. The AMT models also get hill-hold assist. Interior comfort is boosted through a semi-digital instrument cluster, controls on the steering, and a four-speaker sound system. The addition of a 6-airbag variant adds to its safety proposition further and appeals to more safety-conscious customers.
Price Bands and Deals in June 2025
WagonR is available in the range of ₹5.64 lakh to ₹7.35 lakh (ex-showroom). For June, the topmost benefit of ₹1.05 lakh can be availed on the older petrol-AMT model with dual airbags. The new 6-airbag AMT and manual petrol or CNG models have a ₹40,000 cash discount. Total savings can reach up to ₹95,000 if the 6-airbag petrol-manual or AMT variant is chosen by buyers. The entire discount package consists of cash discount, exchange bonus, upgrade bonus, scrap bonus, and corporate discount. But keep in mind that exchange and scrap bonus cannot be combined.
WagonR achieved 13,949 unit sales in May 2025 alone, and with this aggressive discounting strategy, Maruti is aiming to increase those figures further in June.
